Pumpkin Patches |
|
These farms range from the low-key pumpkin and vegetable patches, to carnival-style festivals. Of course, the latter have admission fees and tickets for rides.
Call ahead to find out if the pumpkin patch you've chosen is offering wagons to transport pumpkins from the field or whether you should bring your own WAGON. At the same time, find out if the pumpkins are actually in the field or in a big pile (it may differ during the week). Prices vary greatly, inquire about the price of a 10-lb and 15-lb pumpkin before you leave home.
Remember, if there's been any rain, the fields can get muddy so bring a trash bag for your car — and a change of CLOTHES/SHOES for the kids. Note that some farms close on rainy days.
The farms listed below are grouped by similar offerings. The carnival-like offerings (which are often more expensive) are toward the bottom of this page. Many venues have different offerings on weekends, and many have coupons posted on their web site.
