These questions were posed in the GreatIdeasForKids.com free weekly newsletter. Responses to the following questions are welcome at any time. Thank you!
12 Mar 2008:
The events list in the newsletter last week was particularly long. In the coming months, the number of events will increase significantly. I believe the current format will be overloaded. What are your thoughts about moving the short-notice events (freebies and drop-ins) to a calendar view? (respond)
12 Mar 2008, second question:
At parent-teacher conferences last week, the preschool teachers have pegged my Lego-loving son as a kinesthetic learner. Besides being hands-on, he is often "in-motion". I've pinged the local school, but I'm concerned about how this will play out in Kindergarten. Do you have experience and advice to share about kinesthetic learners in elementary school? (respond)
28 Feb 2008:
Have you noticed the orange tab on the top of every page of the GreatIdeasForKids.comweb site? by clicking it, you can access the GreatIdeas Guides. The most popular one is the GreatIdeas Guide to Indoor Fun with more than 20 ideas (emphasizing drop-in activities). Also, all of the special Summer Camp Listings that have appeared in the newsletter over the past 3 weeks are now posted as GreatIdeas Guides. What other guides would you like to see?

21 Feb 2008:
Do you know of any groups for Stay-At-Home Dads near Lafayette (or anywhere on the Front Range)? A subscriber dropped a line mentioning that her husband is looking to catch up with other SAH Dads while he watches their 6-month old baby. If you've got leads on a group or just want to send a note, please drop a line to me and I'll forward your message. Thank you!

As many of you have noticed, the newsletter has been evolving for the past few months. The question I have for you this week is: do you subscribe to other newsletters for kid-related articles and/or activities? If so, please drop a line and tell me how you think GreatIdeasForKids.com compares to other newsletters?-- specifically how do you think GreatIdeasForKids.com's weekly offering can be improved. Thank you!

7 Feb 2008:
I'm very pleased to announce that GreatIdeasForKids.com will be featuring articles by local experts. Bios and introductions for each expert will be posted soon. This week's question is posed by our new health expert, Dr. Roy Steinbock, M.D. of Mindful Pediatrics: What questions or topics would you like him to address?

24 Jan 2008:
Have you attended the Kid's Expo in Denver? it's back this weekend. Is this a worthwhile, super-fun experience for families with young kids? or is it just another venue for businesses to solicit your dollars? What did you think?

17 Jan 2008:
There are a lot of fun, free activities offered at the many branches of the Denver Public Library. Are you genuinely interested - or is the drive simply too far for you?
