Take 36 E Exit at 287/Broomfield Event center Make left at light Stay in left lane and follow signs for 120th Ave. (under over pass) Once on 120th Ave, make right onto Teller St. (Tires for Less on corner) Teller st. is 4 blocks before main st. Once you turn onto Teller St you will see Old Possum Books on the left side.

MONTHLY (starting in September)
Parent/child book club for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders. The parent and child will read the book together and meet with the other members to discuss and do projects that go with the book. POTTERY BARN FOR KIDS (Broomfield, CO: Flatiron Crossing Mall 303-466-8336)
The store is downstairs, park near Dick's Sports and the waterfall. Else park near Eddie Bauer and take the elevator downstairs. The kids enjoy sitting on the fancy kid-sized furniture. FYI, the little girls are often dressed up.

Preschool Storytime


DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS (Denver, CO: 1005 York Street 720-865-3585)
Extend your visit to the Gardens with a trip down storybook lane. Each Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, we will be reading garden and plant-related stories in the Children’s Secret Path. Drop in to listen to a story or two – and maybe pick a plant or two to eat. Story Time is included in the Gardens’ general admission fee. Meet near the mural in the Children’s Secret Path. In the case of inclement weather, Story Time will be held in the Helen Fowler Library. Sat. and Sun., May 31 - Sept. 21, 2008, 10-11 a.m.

Twilight Tales Family Story Time (for parents and kids)
Stories, songs, and a bedtime snack. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear PJs and bring a teddy bear if you wish!

Spanish-language story time (for young children and parents/caregivers)
Stories, songs, and games in Spanish. For native speakers as well as parents and children learning Spanish.
