What: Dancing, music, good food, and family fun

When: Every Sunday 2-6pm (parties may be scheduled earlier)
Who: Families - kids of all ages but probably the most fun for 6 months - 6 years!
Why: Kids love music; families need a place they can all enjoy together; parents need a place they can relax while the kids run around and no one will be offended; parents & kids love our pizza; parents love the opportunity for the kids to get the last bit of energy out before Monday rolls around; great place for friends and families to get together and have someone else clean up; parents enjoy our beer & organic wine selection; free parking; I love hearing how much the families enjoy it!!!!
Cost: FREE admission and fun
Food: The kids special menu features pizza and pasta choices ($5-7). Other kid-friendly options include fresh fruit plates, popcorn, grilled cheese, breadsticks, quesadillas, and salads. An extensive menu is available for adults.
General: The environment is very relaxed and welcoming. We have some musical toys and instruments on stage and we play boogie music which ranges from They Might Be Giant's "Clap your Hands" to Black Eyed Peas to Disney songs to Disco to Dan Zanes. We try to accommodate the listen pleasure of kids and adults alike. It is great to look out over the crowd and see moms and dads dancing with their little ones. We have really tried to create an atmosphere that brings families together.
Reservations/Walk-ins: We do encourage reservations for larger groups but we have a limit on the number of reservations to accommodate walk-in traffic.

Kids Clothing Exchange: By the way, we plan to have another kids clothing exchange (last year's was great!) this spring and we are always in need of gently used musical toys - great way to clean out the closets and toy boxes!
A Little History: The idea was originally inspired by the Boulder Theater's Baby Loves Disco (thanks Uncle Adam!) but trying to make it less expensive, with a higher-quality of food options in a brighter environment. We started Baby Boogie around Mother's Day 2006. Summer was coming and our house in the Highlands does not have air conditioning. Our family (including three daughters: Maya - 7yrs, Maryn - 4.5 yrs, Marley - 2.5 yrs) needed a spot to literally "chill out" and the mall was not going to cut it.
Since the inception, Jen H., one of our best and loyal customers (and mother to Zoe - 4.5 yrs) has taken on the role of Baby Boogie facilitator and it has blossomed ever since. As the event has grown in popularity the start time has rolled from 3:00pm to 2:00pm. We may eventually move it back to 1:00pm or noon in order to accommodate more families, especially those with varying nap schedules.
