Costume Consignment Sale (and Hotline) - a Great Idea for Schools

PDF Print E-mail
During the course of gathering events, I came across a Halloween Consignment Sale at Lucas Elementary in Westminster, CO. This year's event is Fri Oct 10 from 4-7pm and Sat Oct 11 from 8-11am. This is a great idea for families and for schools. Here is their description:

The Lukas Halloween Consignment and Treat Sale is held annually in early October in the school gym. We sell gently used costumes (adult, child, infant, pet!), accessories, and decorations - sellers keep 2/3 of the asking price and the remainder goes toward our school; alternatively, items may be donated with 100% of price going to the school. During the Halloween Sale, there is an extensive Treat/Bake sale with several raffle items. Volunteers are needed to advertise, to collect costumes, to set up, work the sale and the bake sale, and tear down.

I used the Lukas school hotline for the time/date details. (It's 10x more informative than the after-hours message at my son's school.) Parents can find out a lot of great info via their menu system. Check it out (303) 982-0368. What a great idea for schools!
