Arapahoe House (Thornton)
Adopt a Family for Christmas. Arapahoe House has various size families that would greatly appreciate being adopted for Christmas. We will provide you with the names ages and wish list. There is also a stuff-a-stocking program for individuals, just ask.
Boulder Carriage House (Boulder)
The Carriage House Homeless Community Center is in need of volunteers to help prepare a Thanksgiving meal for our homeless clients. They are also seeking volunteers to collect items to make Christmas stockings for homeless clients.
Family Homestead (Metro Denver)
Bring Holiday cheer to a homeless family by providing new gifts for client families of Family HomeStead. Families now comprise 65 percent of the homeless population in Metro Denver. Family HomeStead provides emergency and transitional housing for many of them. The Holidays can be a very stressful time for our families as parents with little or no disposable income try to provide gifts for their children. This is a terrific opportunity for individuals, families, service groups, businesses, and faith-based organizations to share the Holiday spirit with families in need.
Giving Tree for people with Special Needs / Developmental Disabilities (Lafayette)
The tree is in the lobby, bring unwrapped gifts for children and adults with special needs and developmental disabilities. 1400 Dixon St. in Lafayette, across from the old Wal-Mart.
Holiday Giving Tree (Broomfield City and County Building) purchase a gift for a Broomfield resident that needs a little extra help this holiday season
Angel Tree (Flatiron Crossing Mall)
Pick a tag from the tree and help a child in need by purchasing the items listed on the tag. Unwrapped items need to be returned to the Angel Tree by December 24.
More Giving Trees (Boulder)
Crestview Elementary, Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, Play Fair Toys
King Soopers (possibly non-Boulder locations too) is collecting new/gently used stuffed animals for children.
License to Dream (Metro Denver)
We cook and deliver 3000 meals on Thanksgiving Day. This is our 7th year.
we need help with drivers to deliver the meals and a few people to help assemble the food.
Share a Gift (Longmont/Boulder)
Support our annual gift drive by collecting and sorting toys, bikes, and books for our holiday gift shop.
Family-to-Family Holiday Program thru Social Services of Boulder County
Social Services staff identifies the clients with the greatest needs and helps them compose a "shopping list" of items not to exceed $75 per person. Each donor is matched to a client and receives the list to shop from. Donors can be specific about the type of household they would like to shop for.

Family Self Sufficiency Holiday Gifts thru Housing Authority of Boulder County
Community members are invited to "adopt" an FSS family. Donors may take on as much or as little expense as they can afford: you can adopt more than one family or, can simply donate a gift that can be used to help address basic needs, such as gift cards for grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.
